I also found out yesterday that my Kickstarter project was approved!! On Monday, I filmed the contents of the Kickstarter video and I am now finishing up the edit. On Monday when I was at Joe's filming, a reporter for the Pioneer Press stopped by and interviewed Joe about his upcoming adventures! When he walked inside, the reporter started off interviewing me... He asked why I was there and how I knew Joe, which led into a conversation about my short film. The article will run either this weekend or next weekend during the hand cycle tour. I will post a link to the article when it runs. I'm excited to get my Kickstarter project up and running! Hopefully this weekend before I take off for MT!
In class we are working on writing our scenes including dialogue, actions and transitions. I wrote two scenes for last class, but during our critique we realized that because the majority of my film is from Joe's point of view, I need to be writing the script in first person. Something I did not know you could do in scriptwriting. Although the scenes were not originally written in first person, it still helped for me to simply start writing the scenes. I got a better understanding on where I want to go with the film, I just need to make adjustments to the scenes now.
That is it for now. Time to get back to writing my scenes!
Again, a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped make Montana a possibility!
