There is a GREAT news story that KPAX in Missoula recently did on Joe that you can check out here! They also used some raw footage that Jason and I shot on the trip to help supplement their own footage. We thought that was pretty cool!
It was really exciting to do some early production out in Montana, but now I have to try my hardest to put my footage aside and focus on my script. :/ Which is pretty difficult when you have so much to look at! :) I have to have a rough of my final script done this week so I am back to heavily working on pre-production. I just got off the phone with Amy and Joe where we talked for a few hours about Amy's experience while Joe was in the hospital. I learned a lot about Amy's first visits to the hospital, which gave some incredible insight into some of the initial emotions she felt. It will help me to better develop her character in the story. The two of them are still out in Montana so I am thankful that they were able to take some time to talk with me.
My Kickstarter campaign is still going strong! Thank you again to all of my backers for their continued support! You can find the names of all my supporters on my website's main page! :) I can't believe their are still 16 days to go! Anything above my initial goal is going to aid in a better production and more realistic ways to share Joe's story! I can't wait to see the possibilities I will have during production thanks to everyone's amazing support!
Time to get back to my script! So much more to add/change since my conversation with Amy! I will update more after I finish the rough draft. :)
